Water sports formula


Public: open to anyone aged 16 or over, A2 level minimum
Duration: 1 to 8 weeks
Dates : July / August
Organisation of water sports activities: every afternoon from Monday to Friday.
Registration deadline: 1 month before the start date.
Services included in the price: accompaniment on the first day to the sailing club, a sailing licence and loan of a wetsuit, water sports activities.

Environnement

With its sheltered bay of 180 km2, the rade of Brest is a magnificent training area no matter which sport you choose:  sailing, kite-surf, kayak, standup-paddle etc. and many watersports events are organised in the bay such as multi-sport speed trials, the EDHEC regatta, the light yacht European championships.

After mornings in class at Ciel Bretagne, whether you are a beginner or perfecting your technique, you can discover the thrills and excitement of your chosen sport in complete safety, supervised by state qualified instructors.

Organisation 

Standard general French lessons in the morning (16 hours/week) +

Choice of water sports activities in the afternoon: catamaran sailing or windsurfing

Qualified instructors from the SNRK (Société Nautique du Relecq-Kerhuon) will teach you how to sail or windsurf, or help you improve your skills. In complete safety, you will discover the pleasures of the sea, the thrills of sailing and, very quickly, the satisfaction of steering your boat independently in harmony with the natural elements.

Are you an experienced sailor looking for thrills? The Brest Speed Base offers the world’s largest speed battle organised to date on a 200 km² playground, all year round!
