Our students programs

Ciel Bretagne offers 4 different programs for students and future students:

1. University Pathway

(ex. preparation to Sciences & Technologies studies)

“university pathway” is a programme designed for students already enrolled in a French university, or a higher education institution in France who need to improve their French language skills and acquire all the skills and knowledge required for French higher education before the start of the academic year.

120 hours of classes over 5 weeks –

Programme entry level: minimum B1 / minimum 3 students

# 80 hours of general French + 40 hours of French for academic purposes

Course programme:

• Introduction to higher education in France: types of institutions, organisation, administration, how they work, courses, expected skills, student services, etc.
• Differentiation between courses taught in higher education (lectures, tutorials, practicals).
• Writing and assessment expected in a university environment.
• Methodology for academic writing: summaries, reports, syntheses, essays, etc.
• Oral methodology: note-taking, speaking, presentations, etc.

2. French+Science and technology of the sea

A programme proposed in association with Campus France
30 hours a week over 3 weeks

• 15 lessons of instruction each week in French as a foreign language
• 15 hours thematic activities : professional meetings (companies, institutes…) and cultural visits

Public
Undergraduate (bachelor’s level) students seeking a period of language, scientific and cultural immersion in France.

Requirements
In French: beginner
In English: level B2 required

10 participants minimum

Dates
>A 3½-week programme from 18 June to 10 July 2026
>A 3-week programme from 10 to 28 August 2026

Fees

• session juin/juillet(3 semaines 1/2) : 2050 euros/personne
• session août (3 semaines) : 1 950 euros/personne

3. Marketing in France

A programme proposed in association with Isuga

30 hours a week over 3 weeks

• 14 hours of  French as a foreign language
• 8 hours of a business and marketing project
• 8 hours of visits and activities, focusing on discovering local business and culture

Public
Undergraduate (bachelor’s level) students seeking a period of language, and cultural immersion in France.

Requirements
In French: beginner
In English: level B2 required

10 participants minimum

Dates
>A 3-week programme from 22nd June to 10th July 2026

4. University Diploma in ‘Preparation for Higher Education in France’ (DU PEF)

Le Ciel Bretagne, Le Ciel Strasbourg and the Institut Catholique de Toulouse offer a unique, diploma-awarding programme designed to help you transition into higher education in France.

Public :students wishing to prepare for higher education in France.
You must hold a baccalaureate (or equivalent) at the time of enrolment.

Duration : 1 semester per level
Option for accelerated pathways (4 levels per year)

Start dates:

Semester 1: 14 September 2026
Semester 2: 4 January 2027

Start dates for fast-track programmes
– Starting from A1: 27 April or 20 July 2026
– Starting from A2: 29 June 2026
