Supervision of teenagers at school
CIEL language school has a 20 year experience in welcoming youths from around the world. A qualified organisation is in charge of the groups’ supervision in order for the young people to enjoy their stay and to be safe at all times.
Home country supervisor
CIEL requires the attendance of a teacher or a supervisor from the group’s home country. A special schedule is set up for the supervisor to give him/her the opportunity to be with the youth’s group and to enjoy his/her stay in Brittany. One supervisor for every 15 teenagers (16 teenagers will need 2 supervisors etc…).
Trip coordinator:
The trip coordinator takes care of the organisation of the program in order to have a hassle free and enjoyable stay. This person coordinates the different school services (welcome, transportations, housing, classes, meals, activities)
CIEL’s trip supervisor
During your entire stay at CIEL, qualified people will also supervise your group during activities and at your arrival. These people are used to encourage French speaking throughout activities offered at the language centre; during short trips and outdoors activities.
Host families
All of our host families have been carefully selected. They will welcome the student in a warm and friendly house and will share their daily life, talks and hobbies. Families are aware of security issues as well as curfew hours:
Minor under 18 are not allowed to go out at night unaccompanied, they are allowed to go out afternoons only if their parents or legal tutor have filled a “parents’ approval form”.
